The C.A.R.E. Workshop series is a cultural change program aimed at the whole workforce. The aim of the program is to introduce ‘person centredness’ as a workplace culture. Workplace culture may be described as: ‘The collection of unwritten rules, codes of behaviour and norms by which people operate within the workplace’ (http://www.nswnurses.asn.au/topics/8391.html). C.A.R.E. assists to establishing a workplace culture which respects people and seeks to raise standards, benefitting clients, staff, employers and the community. The C.A.R.E Workshop Series brings the staff group to a common understanding of how to work together and enjoy what they do as a Team.
